Altar Servers

Altar Serving is one of the greatest things you can do. To be so close, intimate and humble before the greatest Mystery on Earth is something not many have the privilege of. At Our Lady of Good Counsel, our youth are able to partake in this great service and mission – serving with respect, honor and reverence at the altar, assisting the priest and loving God.

Requirements for Altar Servers:

Fourth Grade through High School
Must have already celebrated their First Holy Communion
Complete application (found below)
Attend a training session, to be scheduled upon signing-up
Be faithful and responsible to obligations and schedules (ie. Finding a replacement if one is unable to serve)

Servir al Altar es una de las cosas más grandes que puedes hacer. Estar tan cerca, íntimo y humilde ante el Misterio más grande de la Tierra es algo que no muchos tienen el privilegio de hacer. En Nuestra Señora del Buen Consejo, nuestros jóvenes pueden participar en este gran servicio y misión - sirviendo con respeto, honor y reverencia en el altar, asistiendo al sacerdote y amando a Dios.

Requisitos para Monaguillos:

Desde cuarto curso hasta bachillerato
Deben haber celebrado ya su Primera Comunión
Completar la solicitud (que se encuentra más abajo)
Asistir a una sesión de formación, que se programará al inscribirse
Ser fiel y responsable a las obligaciones y horarios (es decir, encontrar un reemplazo si uno no puede servir)
